Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash Diffusers

Two diffusers that slide onto a Canon Speedlite 580EX II flash with a tight friction fit. The triangular version maximizes surface area for the most light diffusion; the rectangular version is smaller and can slide down the flash head to stay compact and portable. Made for and used daily by a photographer at MAKE magazine for several weeks without issue.

What you'll need

  • 3D printer
  • Canon Speedlite 580EX II flash
Suggested material: PLA or similar, translucent filament works well. Designed for a tight slide fit onto the flash head — print at standard settings, no supports needed.
